The Clever Snail
Everybody
knows that deer are fast running animals and snails are well-known for their
slow movement. However, the deer can be
defeated by the snails because of their cleverness.
One
day the deer was challenged in running competition by the snail. Certainly, the
deer laughed out loud and proudly said that if he lost, the sky would collapse.
Then, the snail and the deer agreed to held the running competition at a river.
The snail had arranged his fabrication in such a way so that later he was able
to defeat the deer.
So
now the competition began. When the signal, “one, two, three and go!“, was shouted,
the deer started running along the river. After running for a moment, the deer
called the snail to convince that the snail was left behind. Surprisingly, the
snail answered, “I’m here, deer!” It happened over and over; whenever the deer
called the snail, the snail would appear in front of him. The deer reached the
finish line that had been dealt before. However, the snail had reached the
finish line first. So the deer was lost by the snail because of snail’s
cleverness.
It
was revealed that there were hundreds and even thousands snails lined under the
water along the running track. Any time the deer called the snail, one snail
that hid under the water would appear in front of the deer and it happened
continuously. That was why the snail could defeat the deer in the running
competition although the snail was slow. Finally, the deer gave up and lost.
Moral value:
Knowledge is power
(people who know more than others often control those who know less although
their physical appearance are big)
